Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) – Mandatory requirement for Type 1 products. – Type 1 Products: Safety Certification Certificate of Conformity (CoC); – Type 2 Products: Safety Confirmation Certificate of Conformity (CoC); – Type 3 Products: Suppliers’ Declaration of Conformity (SDoC). – CB Report: CB report is accepted for safety part – Factory inspection: only for Type 1 products |

National Radio Research Agency (RRA): – Mandatory requirement for Type 1 products. – Testing is required or Test report issued from ASBS recognized labs is acceptable. – Factory inspection: not required |

National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications (NRCS) – Mandatory requirement – Testing: Energy Efficiency tests. – Factory inspection: No inspection required. |
